National Treasure #134: Graham Greene

He’s the Canadian Oneida actor, not the English novelist.

He’s played Aboriginal roles – like his Oscar-nominated role in Dances with Wolves, and truly scary gangster Malachi Strand on Longmire.

He’s played non-Aboriginal roles, like Shakespeare’s Shylock at Stratford, and hearing-challenged explosives expert Edgar K. B. (Kaboom?) Montrose on The Red Green Show.

“What have you got for us today?” asks Red Green.
“Yes, it is a beautiful day, but that’s not why I’m here,” replies Edgar.

He’s recognizable enough that he was selected to spoof the Lakota commercial on Rick Mercer’s Report.

Jim R – Glad you liked it. Until we started to watch “Longmire” on Netflix, I’d only seen Graham in sympathetic roles. I didn’t know he could be so scary.
