Faces, Faces . . .

Step back slowly. Very slowly.

And since we’re here, and to end on a happier note, here’s a less-menacing one from pepper on a scallop.

  1. Tom Watson says:

    I see faces, smiling faces,
All kinds of faces looking at me!
I see faces, various types of faces,
    And they stare so happily.

    I think there’s a tune for that.

Tom – 🙂 There might be, but I couldn’t find it. There’s a weird, downbeat song that comes up instead: Smiling Faces Sometimes.

  2. Aha! Precisely the Mad Scientist we suspected to be generating AI.

And I don’t think you have pareidolia when you have an eye for intrinsic (albeit, accidental) art.

Speaking of accidental art, your photo of the sign with directional arrows pointing to ruin and to the front lobby are funny for half a dozen reasons. Apparently, the viewer can go to ruin via the front lobby or from right where she is standing. Or, perhaps, evade ruin via the front lobby. Unless running to ruin was her original intent, in which case (which staircase?) the more direct route may be preferable to the circuitous one? To avoid ruin, only one alternative seems plausible. Unless this was posted in the Hotel California.

And, more soberly, I sincerely applaud the tweet of Amanda Knox on the Middle East war.

Laurna – Per Amanda Knox, I’m thinking of giving up having opinions on anything beyond my immediate circle, where I have at least a feel for the complexities.
