Then and Now

As recently as a month ago, we still had the beauty of colour.

Now we have the beauty of clean lines.

We really can’t have it all. But what we *can* have is fair-to-middling outstanding.

  1. I love what you capture in the multiple frames of car windows. The beauty of components that make up the whole that can be seen by the photographer at a glance around the shoulder stand out in contrast in the windows to be more fully appreciated. Frames can be amazing. Last week, I saw a sunset of hectic roses and gold that was framed above the horizon by thick banks of purple clouds. It cast a peculiar glow over the darkening land. As I had seen something like this before in my mind’s eye — just the glow over the land — the bigger picture had greater meaning for me.

The lines and colours subtly altered by the window and door shapes are fascinating – in any season. Thanks for capturing them.

Judith – Thank *you.* I’m looking forward to having some fun in the South this coming season (whatever season it is down there) with the reflection of different things.

There’s still a fair bit of colour here in the Banana Belt.
